Betsafe launches new sportsbook in Colorado
Betsafe Sportsbook now live in Colorado
Sports bettors in Colorado have a new betting site to enjoy. On Monday, gaming company Betsson launched its mobile sportsbook app under the Betsafe Sportsbook brand. As well as the launch, Betsson also opened an office location in Denver, where the main purpose will be to serve the business-to-business strategies and aims of the company in the United States.
Betsson secured market access in Colorado thanks to a partnership with Dostal Alley Casino, one of the most popular casinos in Central City. Pontus Lindwall, CEO and President of Betsson, said the launch of their sportsbook in the US is “an important milestone.” Lindwall added that they are entering a new continent, expanding the Betsson brand and “further solidifying our B2B and B2C ambitions.” He said this had been possible thanks to “many months of hard work by our product and technology teams,” who have customized an app to suit the American market.
Betsson was given the OK to launch in Colorado after obtaining the GLI 33 certification from Gaming Laboratories International. Receiving this certification is necessary in the Centennial State and other jurisdictions in order to operate a sportsbook.
The Betsafe sportsbook app can be downloaded on either iOS or Android devices. Betsafe states that the app provides users with several sports to bet on, engaging bonuses and promotions, competitive odds, and various betting and payment options for Colorado residents and visitors.
