WynnBET & Rockies Announce Partnership
The Colorado Rockies and WynnBET announced a new multi-year sports betting partnership on Wednesday.
Even though the deal wasn’t made official until now, there have been signs of the partnership in and around Coors Field for weeks.
This deal makes WynnBET Colorado an official sports betting partner of the team, and will provide great benefits for the fans as well. The Rockies already have deals in place with DraftKings and Betfred in Colorado as well.
WynnBET broke into the Colorado sports betting industry after securing a deal with Bronco Billy’s Casino in the town of Cripple Creek. The online sportsbook launched last September, but this new deal should help the company become a bigger player in the state.
WynnBET is the product of Wynn Resorts, one of the biggest names in the US gaming industry. This product has only been around for 10 months or so, but WynnBET has been making a big push throughout the US.
Outside of Colorado, WynnBET is also available in Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Virginia. Even though the state of Ohio has not yet been able to legalize sports betting, WynnBET has a deal in place with the Cincinnati Reds.
According to the announcement, WynnBET will receive access to several of the Colorado Rockies assets, which will likely include official team logos and trademarks. Not only will WynnBET continue to feature signage behind home plate, but other opportunities will be available at the stadium.
Terrific Rewards/Promotions Offered
The WynnBET Colorado sportsbook has a promotional offer for the Wednesday night game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Users can place a moneyline wager on the Colorado Rockies at +500 odds to beat the worst team in baseball.
The “spin wheel” feature on the WynnBET app has already become extremely popular with bettors in the state, and now it will be even better for Rockies fans. On that wheel will be ticket packages for lower-level seats at upcoming Colorado Rockies games.
This announcement also calls for additional promotional offerings in the future as the team and the operator will work together to create new prizes. Look for WynnBET to start to have a much bigger presence at Coors Field this season.
Plenty of Deals in Colorado
Since the Colorado sports betting scene launched back in May 1, 2020, sportsbooks have continued to seek an advantage by partnering with professional teams. Most teams are looking for multiple sports betting partners as opposed to an exclusive type of deal.
The Denver Broncos are the most popular team in the state, and that team has already agreed to partnerships with three different sportsbook operators. Betfred, BetMGM, and FanDuel all entered into an agreement with the Broncos a season ago, and more could be coming prior to the 2021 season.
PointsBet is another operator that has been extremely aggressive in the Colorado sports betting market, forming a partnership with the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche. This company also agreed to a deal with the University of Colorado, the first of its kind in the US.
