Futures Odds Updates For Colorado Teams
Now that the Super Bowl has been played, the focus shifts away from football and onto the other sports in the US.
Football traditionally dominates the US sports betting industry, but there are still some great betting options outside of that sport.
Betting on each game for the local teams in Colorado is always an option, but this is also a great time to step back and take a look at the futures odds for some of these teams. With that in mind, here are some updated futures odds for teams in Colorado that could make some noise this season.
Colorado Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche began the 2021 NHL season as the favorites to win the Stanley Cup, and they remain in that position. It has been a bit of a bumpy ride for the Avalanche at times this season, and the team was just shut down due to COVID-19.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Avalanche are now a co-favorite to win the Stanley Cup at +700 with the Vegas Golden Knights. These teams are also co-favorites to win the West Division at +150.
Nathan MacKinnon is one of the best players in hockey, and he was off to a great start to the season with the Avalanche. MacKinnon is listed at +650 to win the Hart Memorial Trophy, which is second behind Connor McDavid at +200.
Denver Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets advanced to the Western Conference Finals a season ago, and there was plenty of hype surrounding this team heading into the 2020-21 season. Denver has gotten off to a rough start, though, and the odds have reflected that.
Currently, the Nuggets are listed at +1200 to win the Western Conference, which is fifth on the list. Denver has slipped down to +2700 to win the NBA Championship, and there are now eight teams in front of it.
All-Star center Nikola Jokic has done his part for the Nuggets this season, and he is now one of the favorites to win the NBA MVP Award this season. “The Joker” is listed at +500, which is just behind LeBron James (+200) and Joel Embiid (+480).
Colorado CBB Outlook
Both the Colorado Buffaloes and Colorado State Rams are having very successful college basketball seasons, and now is a great time to bet on these teams as well. Bettors are able to place bets on the outcome of each team’s conference title chances as well as the NCAA Tournament picture.
The Colorado State Rams are listed at +200 to win the Mountain West Conference outright title, the second-best odds in the league. Utah State is listed at +125, and it is the only other team ahead of CSU.
Colorado is not going to factor into the Pac-12 Conference regular-season race, but the Buffaloes could play a factor in the Pac-12 conference tournament. The Colorado Buffaloes are currently listed at +600 to win that tournament, which are the fourth-best odds being offered.
